Swiss skiing in Val MüstairWinter Sports in Val Müstair

Ski and snowboard 20 km of piste in Val Müstair between 1700-2700m

I

n the extreme East of Switzerland, facing South towards Italy and with only one pass in and out to access the rest of Switzerland, the Müstair valley, is astonishingly beautiful. Most of the action is off Minschuns, with long runs, plenty of areas for freeriding and no queues anywhere. The only community of any size is Tschierv. There are cross-country trails, toboggan runs, winter hiking trails and natural ice rinks. Apart from the distance from almost anywhere the biggest drawback is that, aside from the gondola up from the outskirts of Tschierv, all the lifts are drags. A free ski bus ferries you around the valley.
